Specifically, these changes now permit transactions of non-witness sizes exceeding 65 bytes, enabling greater flexibility in transaction sizes and reinforcing protection against CVE-2017-12842.

Bitcoin Core enjoys widespread support across major operating systems like Linux, macOS, and Windows. Additionally, the new update addresses scalability and transaction speed concerns within the Bitcoin network, prompted by the emergence of Ordinals.

It is worth mentioning that Peter Schiff, a well-known critic of cryptocurrencies, recently announced an art project involving NFTs on the Bitcoin blockchain.

I’m pleased to announce an art project with one of my favorite artists, Market Price. This collaboration features the original painting “Golden Triumph” as well as a series of prints and Ordinals inscribed on the #Bitcoin blockchain. This surprising development has sparked various reactions, with some highlighting the apparent inconsistency between his past criticisms and his current involvement in the space.

Despite this, Schiff clarified that the project is an artistic tribute to gold, with certain aspects appealing to Bitcoin enthusiasts. At the time of writing, the price of Bitcoin stood at $26,710, experiencing a marginal increase over the past 24 hours.
