Global financial app Revolut has launched its new ‘Learn and Earn courses to educate investors about cryptocurrencies.
According to the Revolut team, the platform’s Learn and Earn courses were created to aid customers in improving their knowledge of cryptocurrencies, including topics such as blockchains and the most popular tokens and protocols.
Revolut customers can earn up to $15 worth of Polkadot (DOT) by completing each course and passing the final quiz.
Users will be met by ‘Crypto Basics’, the first of the two courses. This course will discuss cryptocurrencies versus fiat money, decentralized system, cryptography, blockchain technology, and risks associated with crypto investments, among other subjects.
On the other hand, the second course is based on the multichain network Polkadot, and how it unites blockchains into web3 — the decentralized internet. The course will be accompanied by interactive cards and videos to provide insights into Polkadot’s native token, DOT, use cases, governance system, and Relay chain.
Notably, Relay Chain is the central chain used by the Polkadot Network that enables specialized public blockchain to integrate into a unified network.
Speaking of the Learn and Earn initiative, Revolut’s Crypto General Manager Emil Urmashin said:
There’s a huge appetite from our customers to learn more about cryptocurrencies. ‘Learn & Earn‘ will help them better understand the trends, risks, and potential opportunities associated with crypto.
Emil Urmashin added that their collaboration with Web3 Foundation on Polkadot “will help customers become more familiar with crypto concepts.”
The team revealed that more courses will be added to Learn and Earn this year to provide Revolut users with an array of learning opportunities.
Revolut Ltd is a United Kingdom-based financial firm that offers a variety of financial products through its financial ‘superapp’. Users can also use the platform to trade cryptocurrencies. According to Revolut, it currently has 18 million global customers, making more than 150 million monthly transactions.
