Through his Twitter account on June 2, Markus called all BSC tokens “garbage” while also criticising BSC Gem and claiming that it does not exist. He implied that BSC does not qualify as decentralised, and thus it should not exist.

The computer scientist also discovered that accounts promoting BSC Gem are either scam bots or run by people he describes as “a scumbag or an idiot.”

there is no such thing as a “bscgem.”

every token on that chain is garbage.

every account mentioning “bscgem” is a scam bot, a scumbag, or an idiot.

Previously, the co-founder blasted crypto investors for lacking sufficient knowledge about the sector investing in different projects.

Crypto investors lack education

Markus asserted that 70% of cryptocurrency investors have “absolutely no clue” and lack a fundamental understanding of the sector.

He predicted that by the end of May, at least 99% of existing cryptocurrencies would have dropped to zero in value.

“I mean there’s like 500 shit tokens made daily so 99.9% will definitely crash to 0 but the major ones usually only go down 90% or so,” said Markus.

DOGE co-founder criticises Do Kwon

Notably, Markus’s opposition to the crypto space comes in the wake of the recent crash of the Terra ecosystem, in which investors lost a significant share of their investments. The DOGE co-founder claimed that Terra founder Do Kwon should leave the crypto industry for good.

Markus believes Kwon’s recent efforts to revive the network through the LUNA 2.0 project are a ruse to defraud more people.

While being the creator of one of the most successful crypto assets in the last year, Markus previously stated that he no longer invests in the sector.

Markus explained that after a thorough examination of the market, he discovered that most investors lack basic knowledge and merely gamble with their investments, which led to his decision to exit the crypto space.
