The blockchain technology rapping the crypto world with Internet of Things (IoT) to proffer needed scalability and speed, IOTA (MIOTA), is really thriving in its cause to establish machine-to-machine communication.

In the same trend, IOTA announced a partnership with a top European blockchain interface solutions company, RIDDLE&CODE, to better its goal.

In an update released today, IOTA (MIOTA) noted that it has signed an agreement with the blockchain firm and they will together integrate their respective technologies to establish a trusted path from sensor to Distributed Ledger.

While RIDDLE&CODE network aids a secure environment for business processes, IOTA Tangle technology will be used to enables autonomous machine-to-machine transactions.

Using distributed ledgers to trust data processing and storage makes decision-making based on IoT a possibility. The RIDDLE&CODE crypto chip, when integrated into a device, provides a trusted source of data through the initiation of a tamper-proof digital identity.

As such, the partnership will create an end-to-end solution premise for machine-to-machine payments that helps solve the problem of data management by restricting data to sources with a certified identity.

With all the great technicalities offered, the conglomeration is sure of offering a control that gives directives to a self-driving car or an industrial robot to perform tasks autonomously without the fear of manipulation.

The founder of RIDDLE&CODE, Tom Fuerstner, in a statement said: “Real-world industrial and smart city environments require trusted, scalable and transparent environments from end-to-end to store data. By securely connecting any IoT sensor or machine to the IOTA Tangle with our crypto chips and middleware, we are delivering just that.”

Holger Köther, the director of partnerships at IOTA Foundation, in his own statement believes the partnership will help IOTA realize its vision to connect all devices.

“With this step, the prerequisites of trust are in place for industry to adopt highly innovative tech infrastructure for more efficient business processes,” he added.

A test of the partnership product will be launched by integrating the technologies of the two firms in a hardware device. The RIDDLE&CODE’s Secure Element will be used to induct transactions on IOTA’s Tangle and a smart meter will be linked to calculate the quantity of energy consumes.
