The VeChain Chief Executive Officer, Sunny Lu, has disclosed why top firms build on the VeChain blockchain instead of the solution offered by IBM, saying the blockchain network offers unique user pleasing features than IBM and other world tech giants.
Lu made this disclosure while participating in a chat with leading on-chain media platform, Boxmining, he explained that he is not bothered about competition from the likes of IBM and other big tech companies.
The CEO went further to explain that the crypto market is a big industry where different blockchains are allowed to present competing features. He boasted that he is confident that the VeChain blockchain through its 30 to 80 different use cases has attained a pass mark compared to others.
Lu reiterated that the big companies have chosen VeChain over other tech giants like IBM because they enjoy some unique features that are pleasing on the VeChain blockchain. He went on to point out that other tech corporations could not near the standard tools used by the VeChain network to make delivery super quick and at a low cost.
Talking about the Walmart China and Sam’s club project, Lu said the majority of blockchain projects are business projects and not technical projects, he expatiated that VeChain was able to successfully execute the mentioned project by collaborating with Private Waterhouse Cooper (PwC).
He reflected that Walmart China used VeChain to design a look-alike product that IBM developed for Walmart US.
During the designing of Walmart China’s traceability tool. PwC according to Lu, handled the design and the implementation while VeChain focused on technical delivery, and both companies are presently looking at ways of expanding the project to include more suppliers.
