One of the celebrities among these is world-famous NFL player Brandon King. Brandon King, who plays for the New England Patriots in the National Football League (NFL), said on Twitter that he had purchased more SHIB tokens as he feels optimistic about the SHIB’s future.

Brandon King first purchased 817.4 million Shib Tokens In October; then, he bought more coins in November. Along with King, American rapper and Vine vlogger, also known as FunnyMike, bought 817.4 million SHIB by investing $60,000 in 2021. Such purchasing shows the interest of the crypto community in SHIB.

SHIB token was created by an anonymous person named “Ryoshi” in 2021. Since the launch, SHIB branded itself as a “DogeCoin Killer,” which it proved later by introducing various utilities in its ecosystem. The first-ever utility introduced by the meme token was ShibaSwap, its native decentralized exchange (DEX).

The meme quickly gathered popularity in May 2021 and became a trending topic to discuss on social platforms like Twitter. SHIB also remained top trending on Platforms like Coinmarketcap for months and became the most searched topic on Google worldwide.

According to Etherscan data, 1,133,220 wallet addresses hold Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens in their wallet.
