Voyager Transfers 270 Billion Shiba Inu to Coinbase

The insolvent cryptocurrency lender, Voyager transferred 270 billion Shiba Inu (SHIB) to Coinbase.

PeckShield, a well-known blockchain security resource, has recently disclosed that Voyager, a crypto lender that filed for bankruptcy previously, has transferred $27.7 million worth of digital assets to Coinbase in the last 24 hours. This massive transfer includes 270 billion Shiba Inu tokens, valued at $3 million, 17,000 Ethereum (ETH), and 12 million Voyager tokens (VGX).

Etherscan.io data reveals that Voyager sent 270,000,000,000 (270B) SHIB, worth $3,053,700 ($3.05M), to an unknown wallet before moving them all to a Coinbase-associated wallet labeled “Coinbase 10”.

Following the massive transfer, the wallet associated with the bankrupt crypto lending platform, Voyager is left with 3,393,149,342,541 (3.39T) SHIB, worth $38,376,519 ($38.37M).

This is not the first time the Voyager moved such a massive amount of Shiba Inu to Coinbase. Formerly on February 16th, Voyager also moved 250 billion Shiba Inu tokens valued at $3.4 million to Coinbase. Before this, on February 2nd, the bankrupt crypto lender transferred 270 billion SHIB in three 90 billion transactions to Coinbase, Kraken, and Binance. US.

As reported earlier by The Crypto Basic, the bankrupt cryptocurrency lender Voyager has sold a whopping 5.62 trillion SHIB, which amounts to $67.54 million, since February. This was done through a massive distribution campaign using various cryptocurrency exchanges, including Coinbase, Binance.US, and Wintermute, with most of the assets being sold through Coinbase.

Despite the significant selloff event, Shiba Inu’s price continues to rise over the last 24 hours. As of writing, Shiba Inu is trading at the price of $0.00001124, up 2.48% over the last day with a 24-hour trading volume of $503,018,827 ($503.01M).
