According to a recent survey, the people of Ukraine, an Eastern European country, are the most crypto-aware nation in the region. Russia and the United States were rated second and third, respectively. Ukraine is the most crypto-aware country, according to BrokerChooser, followed by Russia, the United States, and Kenya.

Survey Says Ukraine the Most Crypto-Aware Nation Followed by Russia and US

BrokerChooser, a cryptocurrency brokerage service, used many indicators to determine which country is the most crypto-aware around the world, including the overall number of digital asset owners and the global adoption index.

The poll included Google searches for "cryptocurrencies," "compare cryptocurrency," "what cryptocurrency to invest in," "cryptocurrency to buy," "cryptocurrency trading," "cryptocurrency trends," and "cryptocurrency brokers."

Despite financial difficulties, war challenges, and a high poverty rate, Ukrainians have recently shown a strong interest in digital assets, topping the ranking with a 7.97 score (out of 10). Russia, the world's largest country by landmass, came in second, while the United States, with the world's greatest economy, came in third.

It's worth mentioning that Kenya, which is also experiencing economic challenges, is in fourth place. This is hardly surprising, given that, as the data shows, people in emerging nations frequently look to the digital asset business to protect their funds from currency depreciation.

Ukrainians Are Ready to Adapt to Crypto

The Ukrainian parliament, on the other hand, enacted a bill last month that may legitimate and control digital assets within Ukraine's borders. The new legislation, once passed by President Volodymyr Zelensky, will safeguard investors and trading venues from fraud.

As of now, the cryptocurrency climate in the ex-Soviet state is somewhat perplexing, as digital tokens are neither legal nor illegal. While Ukrainians are unable to use bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies as payment for products or services, traders and investors can purchase and sell them on local exchanges.

Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized the asset class's attractiveness among the Ukrainian people. He sparked hope that the Eastern European country could join the ranks of nations with legal status.
