Daytime talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres is the latest one to jump on the NFT train as she tweeted, "Tomorrow, you can bid on my first NFT!" The net proceeds of the sales will be going to the chef José Andrés' nonprofit food charity World Central Kitchen. Bitski is the platform where the NFT has gone for a sale which is a downloadable video file of DeGenres’ four-and-a-half-minute opening monologue from Monday's edition of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she explained non-fungible tokens, along with a signed physical copy of a drawing. Called “Woman with Stick Cat,” the bid on the NFT has reached $10,000. There are also two straight-purchase items up for sale. A “gold” package of the NFT and signed physical copy sells for $2,500, and a “silver” option involves only the NFT for $100. Amidst this, the billionaire owner of Dallas Maverick, Mark Cuban, is coming to The Ellen Show, and he has already made it clear that he’ll be talking about Dogecoin. Currently trading about $0.275, DOGE has a market cap of $35.5 billion. Cuban has constantly been sharing the updates around Mavs DOGE sales. Earlier last month, Mavericks had announced that they now accept DOGE as payment for tickets and merch. “Not only do the Mavs sales continue to grow, but Bitpay says they are on track to do 6k Doge transactions in April,” said Cuban. As for why instead of going with any other crypto with value, Mavs has gone with the meme coin; Cuban explained that they take other cryptocurrencies too, but “Doge is the one coin that people actually use for transactions.”He added, “People spend their Doge, and that means more businesses will start taking it. The greatest inhibitor to its growth is that you can't spend the Doge you buy on Robinhood.”
