Animoca Brands announced last night a new auction for its Formula 1 F1 Delta Time Non Fungible Tokens (NFT) to sell the rare blockchain-based card captioned “70th Anniversary Edition”.

This is in fact an NFT celebrating the 70th anniversary of Formula 1. Each of these 800 NFTs is sold at a price of 10,000 REVV, or over $2,000, considering the current value of the token.

This NFT is of “APEX” value, which is the highest level of rarity by Animoca Brands standards and has the following powers:

  • Top Speed: 970/1,000
  • Acceleration: 970/1,000
  • Grip: 970/1,000
  • Luck: 70

The non-fungible tokens of Animoca Brands

This data is important because the non-fungible tokens of Animoca Brands are not only digital collectable cards but also playing cards with which players can participate in tournaments to compete with other players.

Owners of some of these NFTs earn dividends based on the fees collected in REVV during events, and all NFTs can be staked for rewards in REVV tokens.

Animoca Brands has launched this series of digital cards with the licence to use the Formula 1 branding, so these are effectively the official F1 NFTs.

Some of the previous NFTs in this collection have staggering values: for example the “Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco 2020 1A” sold for $223,000 and the “1-1-1” Apex race car for $111,111.
