NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti ETH Extracting Performance and Specifications Leaked

In a recent leak, the specifications and the Ethereum extracting performance of GeForce RTX 3080 Ti came out just a day after a report detailed the price of the card and anti-mining measures yesterday. NVIDIA has evidently chosen the GA 102-225 GPU, which can achieve up to 118.9 MH/s under the right conditions.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Specifications and ETH Mining Performance

GeForce RTX 3080 Ti leaks are accumulating up again, having gone silent for a few weeks in April. Someone photographed an RTX 3080 Ti shipment last week, while ITHome has detailed the pricing of the upcoming card and anti-extracting measures. 

Moreover, Videocardz has released pictures of the RTX 3080 Ti’s GPU, along with a snap showing its specs and the performance of mining ETH.
Per the expectations, NVIDIA has chosen the GA102-225 GPU for the RTX 3080 Ti, having repurposed the GA102-250 for updated RTX 3090 cards. 

In addition to this, the screenshot provided by the GPU-Z has 12 GB of GDDR6X VRAM operating on a 384-bit bus width. 

These should amalgamate to deliver about a 912 GB/s speed with a 19 Gbps stock speed, whereas the snap allows the VRAM overclocked to 21.4 Gbps.

GPU-Z Reports RTX 3080 Ti Lower Base

As reported by the GPU-Z, the RTX 3080 Ti has a lower base and boost clock speeds than the RTX 3090 and RTX 3080, albeit only by 30 MHz in the case of RTX 3090.

In addition to this, the screenshot of GPU-Z affirms that the GA 102-225 has 10,240 CUDA cores and 112 ROPs, placing it at a slight disadvantage compared to the RTX 3090.

The screenshot, along with this, shows that the RTX 3080 Ti can achieve 118.9 M while extracting ETH. However, the power limit of the card has been dropped from 320 W to 278 W, its VRAM has received an overclock of 12%.

Seemingly, NVIDIA is planning to halve the ETH mining power through new firmware, although it remains to be seen how long it will take people to find a way around this.
