Singapore-based crypto exchange KuCoin unveiled Tuesday that it has listed chiliZ (CHZ), a new blockchain project focused on tokenizing both the esports and traditional sports industries.

ChiliZ was inspired by the “Socios” crowd-management concept made popular by Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, and will allow both conventional and electronic sports entities to tokenize their voting rights to their fan bases.
Back in June, chiliZ received an investment from Binance, one of the world’s largest digital currency exchanges, and was also listed on Binance’s decentralized exchange.
The listing by KuCoin marks the first major crypto exchange to adopt the new altcoin, which currently carries a $44 million market cap according to CoinGecko.
Trading for CHZ/BTC went live on KuCoin today at 7:00 AM (EDT).
