President and CEO of Paypal Dan Schulman have hinted about the expansion of the services of world’s biggest cryptocurrency Bitcoin.
Dan Schulman has hinted that the users can buy and sell cryptocurrency in the UK as soon as from next month. Schulman stated this on Wednesday during Company’s Q2 earnings call.
“We are also watching strong adoption and trading of cryptocurrency on Venmo. In this quarter, we expanded the Venmo value proposition to allow merchants and consumers to pay for goods and services and receive buyer and seller protection for commerce transactions”, Schulman said.
The CEO did not mention bitcoin directly. Schulman said that the company is going to add some more additional features to its Venmo cryptocurrency services.

Schulman said, “We are working now on transfers to third-party wallets, and we want to make sure that we create a very seamless process for taxes and tax reporting. And so we are looking at how do we integrate that into both the trading and the buy with crypto on our platform”.
