It has been announced that two Ripple (XRP) friendly companies are assisting in releasing digital banking apps for the customers based in Switzerland and the Philippines. Swissquote and Temenos have started collaborations to launch separate banking apps in the Phillippines and Switzerland to the local customers.
Temenos Collaborates With PBCOM to Launch Digital Banking Apps
The Philippines Bank of Communication (PBCOM), which is definitely listed among the biggest commercial banks in the Philippines, has recently partnered with Temenos.
The latest partnership has been done in order to launch the PBCOMobile App, which will be offering “digital-first” services and products to its customers.
As for the services used by the new digital banking app, they make use of software-as-a-service, (SaaS).
In addition to this, the bank offers deposits to its customers along with providing loans for individuals and businesses, cash management, investments, and other services.
Temenos will be assisting the bank to stretch mass-market adoption of its products via mobile apps and attract new customers in the country cheaply.
All thanks to the Temenos software, PBCOM will also be able to launch an ecosystem of digital products and services for its clients.
Swissquote Bank to Go Digital
The online trading platform Ripple and Swissquote bank located in Switzerland is planning to launch a new digital banking application together with a subsidiary of the Swiss Post that deals with the financial services, PostFinance.
In accordance with the press release published by the leading analysts, the cooperation of these firms was announced back in late fall last year and are planning to release Yuh, a new mobile app next week on May 11.
Moreover, both companies are well established in the Swiss financial services industry and intend to offer fresh approaches to mobile banking in the country.
