As we previously reported, the Ethereum-based game draws inspiration from titles like Ultima Online and Runescape, where it will feature a classless combat system, open-world PVP, and player-driven economy.
Ember Sword also features land ownership, which allows gamers to own a digital piece of the game’s world. As players progress, they earn in-game assets, which can be traded or sold for PIXEL, the native token for Ember Sword’s internal economy.
Perhaps the most notable element of the upcoming title is that it will be available completely in-browser, with future plans to add mobile with cross-play functionality.
Gamers can pre-register for Ember Sword directly on its website or listen to the pre-released game soundtrack available here.
