During the latest live chat that we’ve been addressing lately, Elon Musk flaunted his support for Bitcoin. He walked away from his previous worries that led to the drop in price for the king coin.

During a live chat, he said that he wants BTC to succeed and he said that he, Tesla and SpaceX – they all hold Bitcoin.

He also said that he holds Ethereum and a bit of Doge of course.

Tesla to start accepting BTC again

Musk hinted at the fact that Tesla could start accepting Bitcoin once again.

“It looks like bitcoin is shifting a lot more toward renewables and a bunch of the heavy-duty coal plants that were being used…have been shut down, especially in China,” said Musk on Wednesday at The B-Word conference, an event hosted by the Crypto Council for Innovation.

“I want to do a little more due diligence to confirm that the percentage of renewable energy usage is most likely at or above 50% and that there is a trend toward increasing that number. If so, Tesla will most likely resume accepting bitcoin,” he said.

As CNBC notes, Musk continued and said “Long-term, renewable energy will be the cheapest energy, but it doesn’t just happen overnight.”

He also said: “But as long as there is a conscious and determined, real effort by the mining community to move toward renewables, then obviously Tesla can support that.”

Musk addressed Bitcoin and said that it solves scarcity the most. He addressed the benefits that BTC brings to the financial system and you can check out the video above in order to find out more of what he had to say.

At the moment of writing this article, BTC is trading in the green and the king coin is priced at $32,134.85.
