Crypto influencer and analyst Lark Davis is unveiling the names of five hot altcoins that are about to hit the market.

In a new video, the trader lets his 246,000 Youtube subscribers know that the first coin under his radar is AIOZ, a layer 1 blockchain-based content delivery service network (CDN), which aims to provide decentralized video streaming services.

“The use case is a very interesting one. Streaming remains very expensive for major platforms due to the centralized nature of content delivery systems which are centralized and fragmented. The cost savings for these platforms is potentially massive,  many magnitudes cheaper than what they’re doing right now. There are already businesses lined up to use the product.”

Next on Davis’ list is Blind Boxes (BLES), a gamified aggregator marketplace for non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The platform promotes limited edition NFT collectibles from digital talent by selling “mystery boxes” that don’t reveal the art inside until a certain time.

The third coin on Davis’ watchlist is Convergence (CONV), a protocol for tokenizing real-world assets with security tokens.

“Personally, I feel like the market is finally getting ready for security tokens. It’s been brewing for a while. I definitely think it’s going to be a big trend. DeFi (decentralized finance) has finally matured to the point where security tokens will actually become useful and liquid… Use cases like fractionalized ownership of stocks and property, big-ticket items…Blockchain is literally the future of these markets and this is just a step towards that because it allows for these assets to enjoy easy settlement, automated issuance and of course access to the future of finance by being able to tap into DeFi and of course to reach global markets.”

Coming in at number four is Deeper Network (DPR), a web 3.0 network that already has 8,000 nodes.

DPR plans on offering a number of different services such as decentralized VPNs and decentralized content delivery. Deeper Network also provides hardware units for running its network. Davis sees Deeper Network aiding in “making the internet a more censorship-resistant and actually a freer space.”

The last asset that Davis is tracking is Shyft Network (SHFT), a decentralized network allowing users to prove and verify identity credentials, ownership rights, and credibility between counterparties in real-time and at scale. Davis says the Shyft Network can solve crucial issues in the crypto industry.

“Basically they’re making a protected data layer for the entire cryptocurrency industry. Imagine for example being able to prove your identity for a token sale or maybe on an exchange without actually needing to give them copies of your passport and your address and all this stuff because you know that information is going to inevitably get hacked and inevitably leaked out into the dark web. That is what Shyft is trying to solve. Solving one of the biggest data issues in the industry right now.”
