VeChain has partnered with the world’s respected pharmaceutical firm Bayer China to collectively develop a blockchain traceability platform named CSecure, to oversee clinical trials of drugs.
Bayer China made this disclosure during an interview with VCBeat, a China-based health news platform.
The collaboration, no doubt, opens VeChain to the global pharmaceutical industry and portrays it as leading health traceability and technical solution provider in the world as we move to digitize the medical industry.
Bayer China, a pharmaceutical firm based in Greater China region since 1882, partnered with VeChain blockchain startup owing to its outstanding performances in the blockchain traceability world despite being a nascent firm launched less than 5 years ago.
The partnership will sure help Bayer solve its internal problems and some other things to become a principal medical firm following up with the digital trend.
According to Bayer China, VeChain became its partner after the blockchain startup’s unmatched performance during partnerships section at the 2019 Bayer China G4A Program.
Bayer set aside the G4A program to make outstanding firms step forward for a historical collaboration and networking.
The program opens firms to direct partnership with Bayer and the program’s alumni are given “Partner-for-Life” deal.
At some point in 2019, the G4A Program centered on solving some problems, this includes; a Digitized Clinical Trial Traceability seriously needed across the medical industry.
The Bayer Group demanded that capable firms put forward a solution within 45 days of working with Bayer.
Lots of firms who participated in the challenge failed to achieve the solution except VeChain, says head of the China G4A Program, Sunny Ting.
Now, VeChain will be designing a Clinical Trial Traceability solution named Csecure, a ToolChain powered by VeChain blockchain technology.

Csecure will accommodate the upload of authentic data in every critical stage during the whole lifecycle of every medical product stored on the VeChainThor Blockchain.
A unique QR code and VeChain ID are tagged to every product uploaded through CSecure onto the VeChainThor Blockchain for optimum traceability.
