The AMA (Ask Me Anything) related to the crypto project Golem (GNT) has recently ended, during which various novelties were discussed, such as the Task API, the migration to the ERC20 standard and the next stages after Clay.

Thank you to everyone who joined our Reddit AMA session yesterday! Here you can find our summary: https://t.co/rm4LscZxMt

Task APIs are essential to ensure a smooth transition when it comes to the network, something that will surprisingly take place by the end of the month, hence in a couple of days.

These APIs can already be used by developers for testing and understanding their potential, as well as for participating in a bounty program set up by Golem.

Another key issue discussed during the AMA was the migration from the current GNT token to the ERC20 standard to allow token holders the freedom to move them around.

Obviously, in order to implement this migration, it will be necessary to wait for the Gnosis team to create a smart contract on the Ethereum blockchain, test it and then proceed with the audit to check that there are no bugs.

This is expected to happen by mid-year, i.e. by June 2020.

Lastly, another news about the project is the one concerning future progress: the Gnosis team is working, especially on the code side, to improve the whole network architecture and the user interface, which will be presented in the second half of 2020:

“The New Milestone’s PoC will be announced shortly, and its MVP will be live in the second half of 2020. In the meantime, Clay will be operational”.

The post concludes with a reference to the current pandemic situation caused by Covid-19 and that a considerable number of conferences and events have been cancelled, thus also the promotion has moved entirely online.
