Wyre Collaborates With Polygon

According to a press statement shared, Wyre’s Checkout API integration with Polygon will let developers rapidly and easily create a fiat-to-USDC on-ramp for their customers. Meanwhile, the stablecoin may be accessed via the company’s Check and Card Processing API.

According to the payment processor, the functionality offers one of the few fiat-to-USDC on-ramps for clients worldwide and in 43 US states, with the conversion lasting less than 30 seconds.

💸 @sendwyre is now supporting the fiat-onramp of $USDC directly on Polygon!

🔁 Now, developers can integrate Wyre's checkout API to their Dapps & allow users to convert their fiat to protocol's $USDC token within 30 seconds.

Wyre entered the crypto market in 2013, and its network has touched millions of clients worldwide. The firm has been focusing its efforts on extending the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector by collaborating with relevant projects and simplifying the fiat-to-crypto infrastructure necessary to make the industry more accessible to more clients.

The company offers APIs to developers, allowing them to deliver cryptocurrencies to a wider audience.

Process Of Making Polygon More Accessible

Ioannis Giannaros, the CEO of Wyre talks about the collaboration with Polygon:

“We aim to work together with the team of Polygon as well as with their developers to build customer experience for people communicating with this ambitious protocol.”

Nearly 15 million users from different parts of the country and more than 10 billion payments processed, Giannaros says how Wyre’s collaboration with Polygon will make a blockchain-based network more accessible than anyone imagined.

Sandeep Nailwal, the co-founder of Polygon, also remarked on the news, stating,

“Wyre is investing everything into developing a safe fiat-to-crypto on-ramp for the world to utilize.” As the newest initiative to join Wyre’s goal, we’re doing everything we can to attract millions of new people into the crypto space.”

To form various Ethereum-compatible chains, Polygon provides tools to create a multi-chain Ethereum environment.

The project has recently been in the limelight, forming several collaborations to strengthen its position in the blockchain sector.

Polygon announced the creation of a new division earlier this week that focuses on developing the decentralized and NFT marketplaces worldwide that also bridges the gap between web 2 and web 3 gaming.
