It's looking increasingly likely that eToro will be partnering with Ripple sometime soon. After announcing his interest in the company's technology back in February, CEO Yoni Assia has now met up with the team in San Francisco.

Assia previously claimed that he was "very interested in forming a partnership with Ripple Labs", and met up with Brad Garlinghouse in a Fintech conference in Paris. He implied that the company's xRapid technology would be particularly useful for the eToro trading platform, mentioning the difficulties involved with moving funds in and out.

The eToro CEO has now met up with co-founder Chris Larsen at Ripple's headquarters in San Francisco, in order to learn more about xRapid. Observers on Twitter seemed to think that this signalled a major partnership between the two companies coming soon.
