About TRON
TRON (TRX) is a blockchain-based operating system that gives opportunity to create smart contracts and decentralized applications. TRX is a native currency of the system. TRON was founded by Justin Sun in 2017 as part of the Singapore-based nonprofit organization Tron Foundation, through an ICO that raised $70 mln. TRON was originally based on Ethereum and switched to its own network in 2018, with a delegated PoS algorithm.
