About Ethereum Classic

Ethereum Classic (ETC) is an Ethereum hard fork that has disagreed with the Ethereum Foundation's DAO hard fork. Community members rejected the DAO on the philosophical foundations of the Ethereum Classic Declaration of Independence. A technical hard fork was held on October 25, 2016, its goal was to rationalize the distribution of payment for resource-intensive computing. Subsequently, the project was developed separately from the Ethereum network, having carried out several more hard forks.
