The Eighth Blockchain Conference Moscow to Bring Together Crypto Experts From Seven Countries

On November 20, Smile-Expo will hold the eighth Blockchain Conference Moscow, an international conference dedicated to blockchain and cryptocurrencies. The event will bring together developers, investors, blockchain company representatives, as well as leading Russian and foreign industry experts.

Activities for guests

The conference will involve specialists from seven countries: Switzerland, Israel, Germany, the UK, Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. Besides, guests will be able to enjoy pitch sessions, conventional exhibition area, and afterparty at the end of the event.

The conference is divided into two sections: Fintech Hall and Blockchain Hall. The first one will allow specialists to compare cryptocurrencies and conventional finances, focus on blockchain security issues, and reveal technology regulation trends.

Within the second section, speakers will talk about tokenization and ICOs. Experts will share the experience in successful trading as well as discuss decentralization of the Internet and future of crowd sales.

Top speakers

Dr. Guenther Dobrauz-Saldapenna, a partner and leader at PwC Legal Switzerland, will tell the audience about legal challenges faced by innovations. The expert will raise the question of smart technologies and explain how our future depends on blockchain.

A German specialist Sandris Murins, a co-founder and strategic director of Index Protocol, will talk about crypto derivatives. The speaker will inform event guests of the new trend and development of crypto derivatives in future.

Gerbert Shopnik, a Russian expert on cloud technologies and blockchain, customer relations manager for keynote contractors and partners at Bitfury Group, will explain how the technology is successfully integrated into businesses and public sector. Besides, the speaker will share case studies of integrating blockchain in various countries such as Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, and the USA.

Michael Chobanian, the President of Blockchain Association of Ukraine, will speak on the topic: Work with exchanges: market development in the CIS. The expert will reveal the reasons for WEX and BTC-E closing, the competition for customers among exchanges, and liquidity issues on top trading platforms.

Exhibition area and pitch sessions

The event program includes an exhibition area where leading blockchain companies will show their new solutions and recent projects: from mining accessories to new software. Startup teams will take part in pitch sessions: they will introduce their brands and talk about their ideas during brief presentations. The most promising projects will receive funds for further development.
