Pitcher Perfect to Unite the Blockchain Community at Berlin

02 April 2019 09:04, UTC

Berlin is often referred to as the Blockchain Capital within the blockchain community. Berlin is a hub for blockchain events and conferences due to the favorable regulatory framework and a robust blockchain community. The German capital fosters the most respectable ecosystem that is built around leading entrepreneurs, developers and academics of the crypto space. Networking is the key in the crypto space and Berlin has a strong and vibrant tech community.

Hundreds of projects and ICOs come up with blockchain based solutions for the biggest problems faced by the world. However, investors find it difficult to evaluate if the project is genuine or just a rip-off. This is where events such as UCIM Pitcher Perfect come into the picture to solve the investment requirement of genuine projects and simultaneously help investors identify suitable projects. Pitcher Perfect attempts to establish a deep connection between the two ends of the investment community and build a new wave of blockchain technology.

UCIM had kick-started its journey at the Asia Blockchain Week Singapore in November 2018 Following which, UCIM organized a Pitcher Perfect event to help investors realize their unending need for investment by connecting them with the right projects on a common ground. The 2-day event experienced an influx of international speakers, high-impact projects, attendees and industry leaders. The event unfolded with a Pitch-a-thon and velocity meetings for ICOs to pitch their projects in front of the jury, panel discussions, and concluded with networking over dinner and drinks. The panel included a diverse selection of industry leaders with widely differing opinions on how to market your product, and a genuine and unbiased feedback on the projects of the ICOs.

“We attempt to provide a platform where one can build a strong network and a long-lasting relationship within the blockchain community. We hope to find a middle ground where these decentralized ventures can pave the way for a democratic restructuring”, shared the project head at UCIM.

UCIM is hosting the second edition of Pitcher Perfect at Berlin on April 24. The event will host high-impact investors, ingenious projects and start-ups in an intimate set-up beginning with Pitch-a-thon and making its way around velocity meetings, networking sessions and unwinding with a lavish spread of dinner and drinks.
