An Online Hackathon To Tackle Global Pandemic Related Challenges With Blockchain Technology

24 August 2020 12:25, UTC

A global leader in the technology and blockchain industry, Maxonrow is thrilled to be hosting the first-ever MAXathon. This digital hackathon will challenge participants to reimagine the use and applications of blockchain for health and sanitary solutions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. With €15,000 in prizes available, blockchain experts, developers, and other tech enthusiasts will compete in a battle of innovation from September 5 to October 3, 2020.

5 Global Challenges

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, governments, local authorities, businesses and populations have all had to evolve and adapt to the “new normal” at a staggering rate. As this global crisis imposes new challenges, Maxonrow has identified five unique categories from which participants can base their blockchain solution integrations. These include;

Contact Tracing for Social Distancing
Health Status
Welfare
Social Networking
UI/UX & Data Analytics

Access and Leverage MedsLOCK

Maxonrow recently introduced MedsLOCK, a communication and real-time monitoring platform, designed to coalesce all of the pertinent aspects of real-time pandemic monitoring, such as medical supply chain data, patient metrics, lockdown zone updates, blood donor info, and more into a single interface.

Participants will have full access to the platform to build their solutions!

100% Digital

To ensure participant safety, MAXathon is a 100% digital event. Participants can register on the MAXathon platform, wherein they will collaborate with other passionate tech experts and work alongside Maxonrow teams. Final projects are due no later than September 30, 2020, and the top submissions will be invited to pitch their solutions to the jury via the platform on October 3, 2020.
