Tourism With Artificial Intelligence in Italy

26 September 2019 12:02, UTC

The Italian company Neosperience in collaboration with the five-star hotel Borgo Egnazia, located in Egnazia, one of the most visited tourist places in the Apulia region, launched a project based on the “digital customer experience”, which uses artificial intelligence in the field of reception, accommodation and VIP-segment tourist services.

The administration of Borgo Egnazia, the winner of the Virtuoso Hotel of the Year 2016 Award as the best luxury hotel of the year, chose the Neosperience Cloud software with the Voice of Customer (NeosVoc) application to collect and process customer preferences in order to provide exclusively personalized service.

Neosperience is a small enterprise dedicated to developing software for digital customer experience. The company was founded in Brescia in 2006 by Dario MELPIGNANO and Luigi LINOTTO, who took up the positions of managing director and financial director, respectively.

Melpignano, when launching a joint project with Borgo Egnazia, made the following statement:

“The combination of customer voice (NeosVoc), ethnography and artificial intelligence allows to collect and analyze all the information in real time to offer guests an experience closer to their desires, even if they are not expressed.”

“Collaboration with Neosperience and the use of artificial intelligence technologies will allow us to take into account the needs of guests more deeply and clearly,” said Sauro MARIANI, vice president of sales and marketing at Borgo Egnazia. “All of this has the ultimate goal to provide an opportunity to feel more personalized and a unique experience that cannot be obtained elsewhere.”
