TikTok Partners With Music Service Audius

TikTok has partnered with blockchain project Audius to develop the Sound Kit tool that allows songs to be transferred to the app. With this tool, artists who post their songs to Audius can make them available to TikTok users for later use in videos.

Audius is one of the most widely used applications based on blockchain technology. The Audius app was originally launched on the Ethereum-based POA network. In October, the project was partially migrated to high-performance competitor Solana.

Musicians in the Audius app use the AUDIO token, which can be used to generate income from staking. AUDIO token price has risen by 90% in the last 24 hours. At the time of writing, the token is trading at $3.28 with a market cap of $1.3 bln. In March, Audius also announced the integration of non-fungible tokens, which can also serve as a means of monetization.
