Investment Giant Neuberger Berman Will Enter The Crypto Sector

Neuberger Berman will expand its investment strategy, according to a proposal filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Investments in cryptocurrency derivatives will be made through the subsidiary Neuberger Berman Commodity Strategy Fund.

The fund's investment strategy will allow it to manage investments in cryptocurrencies and digital assets through investments in derivatives such as bitcoin and ether futures. In addition, investments in bitcoin trusts and cryptocurrency ETFs will be carried out in order to gain indirect access to assets.

The Neuberger Berman Commodity Strategy Fund has investments in commodity futures in a wide variety of areas such as agriculture, energy and precious metals.
