Binance Smart Chain and Animoca Brands Launch $200 Mln Fund for GameFi Projects

Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and Animoca Brands have jointly launched a $200 mln investment fund to develop early gaming crypto projects based on Binance Smart Chain. BSC and Animonica are announcing a joint investment of approximately $100 mln each to support gaming projects in the GameFi sector.

One of the largest blockchain ecosystems, BSC will invest from its $1 bln accelerator in decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFT) and GameFi. The fund was created earlier this year to expand the services of the BSC ecosystem and stimulate massive adoption in the fintech sector.

A number of major cryptocurrency companies and investment firms have invested in GameFi over the past couple of months, including the Huobi crypto exchange, Solana Ventures, FTX, Sanctor Capital and others.
