A leading DApp on Steem Blockchain has seen a 24 hour volume surge of 255% approximately three days after the TRON acquired the blockchain network.

Spinterlands, a decentralized digital collectible trading card game built on the Steem blockchain was rejigged, possibly due to the news of Steemit moving to TRON Network and the whole event surrounding the acquisition of Steem.

Per data extracted from daap.com, today, the 24 hours trading volume on Spinterlands has 4,866 users in the last 24 hours, and has settled around 243,510 transactions with $738 USD, after seeing 255% increase in volume in the last 24 hours.

The dApp stays ahead of other Steemit dApps in terms of volume, monthly and daily users as well as other indicators for determining the prosperity of a dApp.

With over 10M games played, Spinterlands cards are worth more than $4M, the platform says.

According to the available information on Spinterlands, players have traded more than $1M with each other on the secondary market, and over $70,000 in tournament prizes have been awarded to players on the platform.

Spinterlands, arguably is among the greatest dApps in the Steemit blockchain network. It has a brand new set of over 70 unique cards with 7 new abilities. The dApps among over 90 others are going to be moving to TRON network.

DApp.com says Steemit has 500K on-chain users and 8M monthly traffic with over 90+ DApps already waiting to be migrated to the TRON blockchain.

At the moment, efforts is ongoing for the Steemit token migration and some exchanges already pledged to support the movement to make it as seamless as possible.

As Spinterlands joins the top 15 dApps, other TRON ecosystem’s dApps like WINk and DLive and Poloni DEX are leading the decentralized app table due to their performances.

dApp Owner on Steemit Doubts Migration to TRON Network

As the excitement of the TRON acquisition of Steemit pervades the cryptocurrency world, a dApp owner on Steemit has said it is not likely his dApp would be moved to TRON network.

The owner of SteemPress, a platform connecting WordPress blogs to Steem blockchain, said none of the Steem dApps is going to TRON.

He claimed he had no idea of such until 2 days ago when the blockchain network was acquired.

Fredrik Aarrestad said: “None of the Steem dApps are going to Tron. I run one of them and have had absolutely no idea of any of this until 2 days ago, nor is there any chance that Tron is able to provide the technical standard that made us build on Steem to begin with.”

Fredrik, who latter desired to know how dApps on Steemit would be moved to TRON, suggested that Justin Sun build both to complement each other rather than moving Steemit to TRON.

He added: “Steem offers technical capabilities to host social dApps that Tron simply does not. My hope is that the dApps will remain on Steem but integrate with Tron. As the new owner of Steemit, I hope he can see that building both to complement each other has the greatest potential.”
