Hacker collective Anonymous has taken down several Russian government websites including the state-controlled Russia Today news service.

Anonymous Hackers Declares 'Cyber War' Against Russia

Anonymous collective announced yesterday that they are officially in a ‘cyber war’ against the Russian government. Following the announcement, the group launched several cyber-attacks that were either taken down by the collective group or were slowed down including those of the Russian government, the Kremlin, Duma, and the Ministry of Defence. https://twitter.com/YourAnonOne/status/1496965766435926039 The group further claimed on taking down “the website of the #Russian propaganda station RT News in response to Kremlin’s brutal invasion of #Ukraine.” However, the site was back up a short time later. Apart from RT news, the hacker collective also launched distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks against websites of Russian internet service providers Com2Com, Relcom, Sovam Teleport and PTT-Teleport Moscow.

Anonymous Hackers and It's Crypto Connection
