Wormhole, a bridge between Solana and other DeFi blockchain networks, was hacked last Wednesday, when hackers took roughly $320 million in cryptocurrency. 120,000 wETH, or “wrapped Ether,” was taken by the cyber thieves.

The hackers then changed 93,750 of the funds into Ethereum and moved them to a another wallet.

Wormhole is offering a $10 million reward.

Wormhole is now offering $10 million to anyone who can provide “information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals responsible for last week’s theft,” five days after the heist.

“A $10,000,000 reward is offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of those “

“responsible for the hack of Wormhole on February 2, 2022, or the recovery of the stolen assets,”

That’s, the platform said in a blog post on its official website. “The $10,000,000 white hat offer stays open as long as the money are returned in a timely manner. Please contact bounty@wormholenetwork.com.”

The wormhole exploit is only the latest in a long list of issues with Solana. That’s, the blockchain with lower transaction fees than Ethereum. Trading software bots attacks knocked Solana offline for 17 hours last October, and the network’s performance has since deteriorated.
