Yuga Labs Warned NFTs Holders About Ongoing Threats Of Hacks By A Group Of Hackers

  •  Yuga Labs issued a red alert regarding ongoing threats by a group of hackers. 
  •  Premint Ecosystem lost 375k from 314 wallets after being hacked by a group of hackers. 

Theft of 375k in the Premint ecosystem is of NFTs fearing other platforms working in the same space. They warned them about the theft and suggested not believing in fake notifications and staying away from malicious links.  

Yuga labs expressed fear of targeted NFTs theft increase over the last few months and have informed their users to stay aware of malicious links and Attractive fake offers.  

Our security team has been tracking a persistent threat group that targets the NFT community. We believe that they may soon be launching a coordinated attack targeting multiple communities via compromised social media accounts. Please be vigilant and stay safe.

Yuga Labs, the creator of Bored Ape NFTs, expressed that it favours coordinated attacks targeting several Non-Fungible fund ecosystems in upcoming weeks or months.  

The coordinated attack is likely to be executed via social media, as in the first week of July, a Social media Hack occurred with artist deekays NFTs amounting to around $150,000.   

According to the reports, this is not the first time Yuga Labs is informing its users to be aware of social media hacks. A few months ago, the firm informed their user via Twitter handle to be aware and stay safe from this kind of theft.  

Gordon Goner is the operational head and CEO of Yuga Labs. He warned his user at the beginning of June 2022 about the upcoming threat of a group of hackers targeting the NFTs community. 

We’ve received credible information that there may soon be an attack on our social media accounts, using an inside source at @Twitter to bypass our security.

Conclusion 

The word coordinated theft is most popular in the crypto market nowadays and is feared by NFTs holders and NFTs operating firms. Many firms have worked on their security system, trying to figure out its drawbacks and upgrading it, and an up-gradation security firewall is also under development. Hack with Artist deekays NFTs amounting to around $150,000 last June and starting July 2022. And a hack in Premint Ecosystem targeting 314 wallets amounting to 375k is troubling others because of back-to-back theft with huge amounts.
