Mike Tyson has partnered with the Binance NFT marketplace to launch a Mystery Box NFT Collection. The boxing legend will join the long list of sports players and celebrities launching non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to boost fan engagement.
Mike Tyson to launch an NFT collection
Mike Tyson will release the collection of 15,000 NFTs to a global audience through Binance NFT. The sale for this NFT collection will be released on April 5. Those who participate in this sale can buy a Mystery Box NFT valued at 44 BUSD.
Those who participate in the sale of these NFTs will unlock the ownership of Mike Tyson merchandise that has been physically signed. The merchandise available includes gloves, shorts, T-shirts and training gear. The unique NFTs have been designed by Henric Aryee.
The Mike Tyson Mystery Box NFT will also provide access to the extra utility by allowing the buyer to participate in earning rewards and receiving first-hand information about any upcoming Mike Tyson NFT and metaverse projects. The buyers of this NFT collection will also receive an airdrop of three special edition NFTs to be released towards the end of 2022.
Earlier on, Mike Tyson had confirmed the release of this NFT collection on Twitter, saying, “Hey @cz_binance, I’m coming for you next week, April 5 you better be there…” The NFT sale will be open from April 5 2022, at 11:00 AM and close on April 5 at 11:00 PM. After the primary sale is concluded, the secondary market will be opened.
NFT collection will have five designs
The NFT collection will consist of five different designs. The Bronze, Silver and Gold collections will have 9000, 4000 and 1950 NFTs, respectively. These three designs will have one NFT design per rarity level from Henric Aryee. The Platinum and Diamond collections will have 35 and 15 NFTs, respectively. The Diamond and Platinum NFT design will give users access to exclusive Mike Tyson merchandise. These two designs will also feature a Mike Tyson NFT that can be used to redeem the merchandise.
