Robinhood launched its crypto wallet services

In an official announcement, Robinhood had stated that it had started rolling out crypto wallets for users initially; it will avail the service to 1,000 users. With the announcement of the wallet launch earlier, platform users were on the waiting list; the company had chosen top users from the list. 

Company’s plan and its anticipation

CPO Aparna Chennapragada has said that customers are highly enthusiastic about the company’s new product, and there were approx 2 million users on the waiting list for crypto-wallets. The company has plans to roll out the services further to 10,000 users by March. Further, she has stated that the company will continue its drive towards cryptocurrencies and related services, and we’ll be identified as a prominent player in the field. 

Currently, the crypto wallet is available in its Beta version, which will help test the feature’s functionality. The users’ feedback will help remove the flaws detected by them and eventually make a user-friendly product. Aparna stated that the company is making sure its product’s quality meets the desires and anticipations of customers by consistent feedback from them with continuous collaboration with them.

Extra features in wallet

Besides mentioning the digital asset wallets on the platform available for users and investors, other features added in the app are crypto gifting and company Q&A. The section gives the users and customers of the app a deep dive into the company’s insider knowledge and insights and its roadmaps to get the direction of the business. 

The company will gradually add more features in the Beta version, such as calculating the dollar value of any crypto assets at the time of its selling or buying. Beta users will have a daily limit of ten transactions, a total withdrawal of $2999, and a security feature that enables two-factor authentication before a transaction.

The firm has successfully pioneered trading of stock-keeping it commission-free, exchanging traded funds, and it has even launched its mobile application, which serves cryptocurrency exchange as well.
