Swiss Bank PostFinance Partners With Sygnum for Crypto Services

PostFinance, a Swiss retail bank owned by the government, has partnered with Sygnum to offer its customers access to cryptocurrency trading and storage services, including Bitcoin and Ether. The move was driven by increasing demand from customers, according to PostFinance's CIO Philipp Merkt. The bank's crypto services will be enabled through Sygnum's institutional business-to-business offering. PostFinance's parent company, Swiss Post, has been active in the crypto space, having built its own crypto custody platform and issuing digital collectibles linked to physical stamps in 2021.
