Cloudflare announced support for Ethereum Merge and the Sepolia and Goerli testnets on September 13th. Users can use Merge Testnets to test and develop decentralized applications (DApps) and to test updates on the network. Cloudflare's testnet support will ensure the reliability, feasibility, and security of implementing changes before deploying to the Ethereum mainnet.

Support for the Rinkeby testnet will end on January 15, 2023, according to the deadline set by the Ethereum Foundation. In addition, the Ethereum Foundation announced that users and developers are moving to the Goerli or Sepolia testnets. The Ethereum testnets Merge Kiln, Ropsten and Rinkeby will soon be deprecated and closed.

The Ethereum merge is scheduled to happen on September 15th around 04:00 UTC. Currently, there are about 5,000 blocks left to mine. At the time of writing, Ethereum (ETH) is trading at $1,606, according to CoinMarketCap.
