Connect to Web3 with Ledger

Ledger is about to unveil its browser extension—Ledger Connect, to the Web3 space. The protocol will ensure that users connect their Ledger Nano X Bluetooth-enabled hardware wallets to Web3 applications via mobile or desktop.

The secure hardware wallet provider announced the big news on May 17 via Twitter, urging users to register for the beta waiting list. When the innovation goes live, users will be able to connect to Solana and Ethereum Decentralized Applications (dApps). However, Ledger disclosed through its website that the browser extension would also support other chains in the future.

Ledger will be launching its own browser extension!

The innovation is a simple way for users to transact Non-fungible Tokens (NFT) and cryptocurrencies and connect to Web3 dApps. The Ledger Connect service also comes with top-notch security that warns connected users of risky Web3 transactions so that their assets remain in their hardware wallets.

Interested users should visit the Ledger Connect page to sign up for the Beta waiting list and become part of the early testers of the unique service. Additionally, the Beta Test is eligible for Ledger Nano X owners and iPhone users with iOS 15.4 or later using the Safari browser.
