Recently, the Chinese government, which continues to violently eradicate cryptocurrencies, announced that the Cyber Security Administration has directed all its efforts to accelerate the process of introducing blockchain into various government systems.

According to reports, the Chinese authorities intend to transfer the work of a large number of government departments to the blockchain, we are talking about at least 164 government organizations.

China has always been very positive about distributed ledger technology, calling it the future of the technology space. So, as of today, China intends to introduce blockchain into the industry of government data exchange, energy, and taxation. Also, the report says, in the future, the government intends to use distributed ledger technology to verify international transactions and to control law enforcement agencies.

The Cybersecurity Directorate has already applied for the official receipt to all government departments and their divisions.

“State structures of all levels are obliged to provide maximum assistance in the process of introducing blockchain technology. The leadership of all departments must create the proper conditions and atmosphere among their staff for the rapid adoption of all innovations and ensure a balanced work of state systems,” the CAC said in a statement.

According to reports, the CAC document also included a list of all regions, cities, and organizations directly that will participate in a pilot project to test the work of government agencies based on the blockchain. This list of departments has not yet been presented to the public.

The Cybersecurity Directorate also noted that the outcome of all tests will depend on the local regional authorities directly. So, it is they who, according to the CAC, should ensure the coordinated work of their team and make sure that the possibilities of the blockchain are used to the maximum to optimize and speed up the work of state departments.
