To foster the development of early-stage Web3 and blockchain firms, BNB Chain, a blockchain that is closely associated with the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, is collaborating with Google Cloud. BNB Chain officially announced this collaboration on its Twitter account. https://twitter.com/BNBCHAIN/status/1570061321881763840

BNB Chain To Use Google Cloud Infrastructure

According to a press release, projects built on the BNB Chain may now utilize Google Cloud infrastructure, including the capacity to analyze on-chain data and encrypt data using Google Cloud. Because of the flexible, secure, and open-source infrastructure, more than 1,300 active BNB Chain-based decentralized apps (dApps) from the fields of blockchain gaming, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), decentralized finance (DeFi), and metaverse will be granted access to the resources offered by BNB Chain and Google Clouds. A BNB-focused accelerator program will also grant 150 businesses "expedited access" to Google Cloud's startup assistance program. The platform will enable developers and projects to use carbon-neutral cloud infrastructure to grow offerings, which is a key takeaway. According to Gwendolyn Regina, investment director of BNB Chain,

"Google Cloud is a very good Web2 player and has really done a lot of Web3 stuff. It's important for us to just work with big players who have big visions, and we share the same DNA and same visions."

Google Enters The Web3 Space

This most recent partnership with BNB Chain comes in the wake of the rapid entry of Google into the Web3 space. Google Cloud introduced its dedicated Digital Assets Team earlier this year and expanded its crypto-mining malware threat detection service. The collaboration will make it easier for specific Web3 builders from the BNB Chain ecosystem to access the Google For Startups Cloud Program. The Google For Startups Cloud Program provides yearly Google Cloud credits for up to two years to support early-stage businesses starting and expanding their ventures. The Google Cloud Startup success team members and the company's technical subject matter experts in data management, data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and zero-trust security will be available to interact with Web3 creators.
