Several exciting blockchain and crypto events took place last week. Like the much-talked-about Binance blockchain week and Bloktopia’s announcement to adopt a multichain approach.
To keep our readers informed, we have compiled some top upcoming crypto events expected to take place next week. These crypto events include strategic partnerships, listings, updates, product launches, etc. DeFiChain to introduce a new reward scheme and Cubs Club’s upcoming new collection launch are some of the crypto events expected next week.
Interestingly, the entire blockchain and cryptocurrency space is slowly but steadily recovering from the lows of 2022 Q1. Bitcoin, for now, is trading at $46,579, which is a 5.1% increase over the last 7 days. Ethereum, on the other hand, is trading at $3,483 with a market cap of $418,428,187,764. Ethereum has also recorded a 12.1% increase over the last 7 days.
First on my list of upcoming crypto events is;
1. BitMart Adds Support For Flag Network $FLAG Tokens
Crypto trading platform BitMart will list support for Flag Network $FLAG tokens. The listing of FLAG tokens on BitMart is a major update for the Flag network, as it will help boost awareness for the platform. For now, the supported trading pair is the FLAG/USDT pair. Also, the deposit feature is currently online. However, FLAG tokens trading on BitMart will commence on April 4, 2022, at 6 am (EDT).

2. EOS Next Eden Election
EOS network is set to move to a new codebase known as Mandel. The Mandel is also a major upgrade on EOS since the launch of the EOSIO 2.0. In line with this, the Mandel 2.3 update was launched last week.
In this new week, we are also looking forward to the Next Eden election. The election is scheduled to take place on April 9, 2022. Interestingly, it is also the second Eden in the EOS election.

3. DeFiChain To Introduce New Reward Scheme
DeFi for Bitcoin, DeFiChain has plans to incorporate a new reward scheme. This announcement closely follows the introduction of new tickers like dDIS, dMSTR, dINTC, and dMCHI on DeFiChain.
Also, according to the announcement, the new reward scheme will involve distributing the four new tokens on DeFiChain. Notably, the reward scheme will go live on Monday, April 4, 2021, at block height of 1,766,000.
With the launch of the new tickers $dDIS, $dMCHI, $dMSTR and $dINTC on DeFiChain, block rewards will be adjusted!

4. Kava Network Ethereum Co-chain Beta Launch
As part of the Kava Network roadmap, the layer-1 blockchain platform has revealed details of its upcoming Ethereum co-chain public beta launch. The beta launch will serve as an incentivized testnet to test run the Ethereum co-chain. The ETH co-chain public beta launch is also expected to launch on April 5, 2022.
This also means that interested persons will have the opportunity to try out some of the apps and protocols on Kava Network.
5. MetaFabric $FABRIC Staking Launch
Social Network platform MetaFabric ($FABRIC) staking launch will go live this week. According to the announcement, the staking launch will take place on April 5, 2022. And is a major milestone achievement for the entire MetaFabric ($FABRIC) ecosystem.

Solana-based DAO, Cubs Club has announced plans to launch its new collection. Also, the collection is expected to go live on April 11, 2022.
