Roger BASTON, Head of Digital Assets at Franklin Templeton, shared his thoughts on the future of cryptocurrency investing, highlighting the potential of Solana (SOL) as a new ETF candidate. In an interview with Bloomberg, Roger Baston emphasized that Franklin Templeton is focused on demystifying and opening up the world of crypto investing.

He also noted that while Ethereum has not yet become as well-known as Bitcoin, it shows great promise as its network is capable of solving many problems in a decentralized environment. Baston discussed how the company is trying to make these assets more accessible to investors through brokerage accounts and ETFs. Baston also expressed optimism about the future of not only Ethereum and Bitcoin, but also other promising projects in the blockchain and digital asset infrastructure space.

Baston also referred to Solana as another network with high growth potential like Ethereum. He spoke about the need to assess various networks and the possibilities of diversifying the digital assets. This aligns with Franklin Templeton’s ongoing assessment approach, and possible allocation of blockchain projects depending on their merits and demand from investors.
