While these developments are significant for Solana, the ecosystem’s relationship with Google Cloud drew more attention. Google Cloud is developing a block-producing Solana validator to validate the network and contribute to its operation.

In 2023, Google Cloud’s Blockchain Node Engine, which was initially revealed on October 27, will be integrated into the Solana blockchain. According to the company, building a specialised Solana node in the cloud will be easier.
