NEO

Various Neo Blockchain Toolkit component updates were published by NGD Enterprise. Released in quick succession after RC2, the newly revised tools are fully compatible with the latest N3 core changes, expected to roll out onto the Neo N3 TestNet on May 18, 2021. C# developers will notably need to use the newly released nccs (Neo Compiler CSharp) compiler from RC2 onwards.

Neo co-founder, Da Hongfei, was featured in a CoinTelegraph article, where he shared insight into the growth of DeFi and how flexible governance is critical for sustainable blockchain development.

NNT Catch Up

Neo News Today hosted NOWPayments CEO, Xena Kash, on episode 52 of the NNT podcast. Discussion topics included cryptocurrency payments adoption, the type of client NOWPayments attracts, its relationship with Neo, and much more.

In the interview, Kash talked about how NOWPayments chooses the coins it supports by listening to the blockchain community. She highlighted that it is the users of a cryptocurrency, not the merchants, who have the loudest voice in deciding which coins to integrate into the payments processing service.
